Kigelia Africana Oil
Kigelia Africana, also known as the sausage tree is a tropical tree native to sub-Saharan Africa that produces large, sausage-shaped fruits and red flowers that bloom at night.
Kigelia has been used in Africa for centuries to:
- promote penile growth and treat ED in men
- promote the development and toning of the
breast and buttocks in women
- heal wounds and abscesses
- reduce appearance of fine lines/wrinkles
- restore uneven skin tone
- treat fungal infections, boils, psoriasis, eczema, Staph infections, skin melanoma, dysentery and venereal diseases
Kigelia Properties
* Antibacterial to fight blemishes
* Anti inflammatory to soothe
* Antimicrobial to accelerate wound healing
Kigelia’s healing properties are comparable to the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin, which is used to treat a range of conditions including skin infections. Its antifungal properties have been compared to those of Amoxicillin, a further testament to this botanical’s potency and effectiveness.
The roots, wood, and leaves have been found to contain kigelinone, vernolic acid, kigelin, iridoids, luteolin, hydroxyluteolin. The iridoids have antibacterial effect. Rich in medicinal bioactive compounds, Kigelia is an ingredient potent enough to fight bacteria and acne, yet gentle enough to calm distressed skin. People who have irritated or sensitive skin can particularly benefit from Kigelia’s calming and restorative properties.
It’s important to know that EVERY batch of my kigelia oil has been concentrated in a mason jar for a month, at minimum.
